Chief Petty Officer Ronald Garcia and his family have been serving our Nation in the Coast Guard for over 20 years.  Many of those years have been spent chasing narcotics smugglers across the oceans, providing security in America’s ports, and saving lives in the Florida Straits. In recent years, he has been fighting a brutal battle against cancer.  This past November, Ronnie was admitted to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX to receive additional treatment after a relapse.

On March 1st, Ronnie received a bone marrow transplant procedure to hopefully rid his body of the cancer once and for all.  His amazing wife Michelle has already joined him in Houston - leaving their four children with their grandparents back home in South Florida - and Michelle will be Ronnie's caregiver for the 90 days post-op away from home in Texas.

The CGTLE Foundation has committed to FULLY supporting the Garcia Family's post-op food, travel, and incidental expenses for 90 days until Ronnie has safely recovered from his procedure and they are able to return home. To contribute to the fund that is helping this selfless family, please donate to the Emergency Assistance Fund below.

Ronnie and Michelle are the last people to ask for help, which makes us want to help them even more. Thank you for any assistance you can provide!
